The Cornwall Child Center is open to all children from the ages of 1 to 6.  Our hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m late August through mid June.  We enroll children from the Northwest Corner of Connecticut.  We currently offer the following programs:

Infant and Toddler Care Program:  This program is designed for children ages 1 to 3. It is based on The Creative Curriculum™.  The hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm late August through mid June. Read more about our program here.

Preschool Program:  This program is designed for children ages 3 to 5.  The day begins at 8:00 a.m. where children are encouraged to participate in free play.  During the morning hours, the children have a snack and enjoy outside play in our fenced in naturalized play area.  Their day includes stories, activities, music and movement.  The children then eat lunch, followed by rest, project choices, outside play and more free play.  Read more about our program here.

School-Aged Children:  A.S.K.K. (After School Kids Klub) is held at the Cornwall Consolidated School and is organized and planned by teachers Tracy Gray and Chelsea Conklin, with assistance from volunteer Sandy Dolinsky. This program is administered and funded by the Cornwall Child Center.

We provide age appropriate activities, healthy snacks and homework guidance, using the resources of the school and our local community.
