The Cornwall Child Center is once again offering a fun-filled summer enrichment program for children between the ages of three and six. Due to the great success we have enjoyed in the past and the full enrollment we have had, plans are underway for another interesting and fulfilling summer. This year due to a building expansion project to take place later in the summer, the program dates have been changed to:
Week I June 23 - 26 Week II June 30 - July 3 Week III July 7 - July 10
Camp will meet Monday - Thursday from 8:30 to 1:00. Children are asked to arrive not later than 8:45.
The staff is busy planning for an exciting program surrounding the theme of “Environmental Explorers.” This will include a study of the jungle, the arctic, and deserts. Every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Paul Recker, an accomplished guitarist and storyteller, will captivate us to sing and dance before he tells us a story.
Two groups will be formed and where possible ages kept to a group for three and four year olds and a group for five and six year olds. In this way the staff will be able to address the needs of each individual child with age appropriate activities which will be stimulating and fun. Camp will include five teachers who hold educational degrees in early childhood education.
