8:00 AM - 9:00 AM	Children arrive at the Child Center
Arrival – 9:30	Guided Free Play: The teacher interacts with the children as they play the variety of educational toys available. Language development is encouraged as the teacher describes the activity and extends the play through open ended questions and explanations.
9:30	Snack/Diaper changes and numerous trips to the sink for hand washing
10:00	An activity will be offered including painting, gluing, coloring, cooking, play dough, etc. Not all of the children might feel inclined to come to the table to participate. Music and dancing with finger plays and poetry might also take place at this time.
10:30	Outdoor play or stroller walks or indoor Gross Motor play
11:30	Diaper changes/hand washing
11:45	Lunch
12:00	Diaper changes/ hand washing /Story time
12:45	Nap time
2:45	Afternoon Snack/Diaper changing/ and numerous trips to the sink for hand washing
3:00– 4:00	Guided Free Play or outdoor play or stroller walks or indoor Gross Motor Play

As one can imagine, the toddler room is less structured than the other programs offered at the Child Center due to the age of the children and the vast developmental differences among those in attendance. The toddlers have varied interests and attention spans so the creative teacher has to keep the day moving along constantly interacting and changing up the offerings.
