Director  Amy Bresson Amy Bresson has her Bachelors of Science degree in Child Study with a teaching certificate endorsed in Pre K -6th grade. She also has a Director's credential and a Head Teacher certificate from the State of CT. She has worked in the Early Childhood field since 1991 and resides in Torrington with her husband Jason and her two sons J. Phillip and Nathaniel. In her spare time, Amy enjoys watching football, baseball and basketball and taking walks on the beach. Staff  Jennifer NestlerJennifer has been at the Child Center since 2000 as the Head/Lead Teacher in the preschool program. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education with a focus in English, and she has her Head Teacher Certification from the State of Connecticut. Jennifer lives in Cornwall with her husband, Pete, and their three children, Natalie, Jack and Dennis.  Chelsea Conklin has a Bachelors degree in Business with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, and a Head Teacher certificate. Chelsea has worked at Head Start as a teacher for preschool and school age children along with summer program planning and is doing the summer program as well as teaching in the preschool program and After School program. She lives in Torrington.  Tracy GrayTracy Gray has worked with children from pre-school through high school for over 30 years. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education, is an Accociate in Christian Education and a Partner in Education for the United Church of Christ. A life-long Girl Scout, she brings her love of the outdoors to the Child Center. Tracy, her husband Mark, and two daughters, Emery, and Meredith reside in the home she grew up in, here in Cornwall. Tracy runs our After School Enrichment program (2:55-5:30).  Kim Johnson has her Bachelor's in Government from Smith College and a Master's in Special Education from UMASS Amherst. Kim has spent the last year and a half working at Cornwall Consolidated School in the Kindergarten program, and is ready to work full time in our toddler program, bringing her educational background and toddler experience to our program. Kim lives in Amenia with her significant other, two cats and a dog.
